Active Chem Special Effects Chapter Challenge

Groups - you pick groups of three (2 to 4 with permission)

Script - 20%

1. Interesting and creative. 2-5 minutes long (3 minute target).
2. Appropriate subject matter and treatment - doesn't violate school rules.
3. Uses a play /movie script format.

Special Effect (SE) - 25%

1. Safe - doesn't violate school rules.
2. High quality, realistic, reliable, fits in script.
3. Must have at least one chem topic we studied.
4. SE procedure
   1. Materials list.
   2. Numbered step by step list.

SE Demonstration - 30%

1. Safe - doesn't violate school rules.
2. Can be on video tape.

SE Explanation - 25%

1. Must demonstrate understanding of chemical principals.
2. Presented to class.
