Organelles:

• are delineated by membranes.

Cytomembrane System

• Membranes physically connected or connected by transfer of vesicles.
• Membranes exhibit various thicknesses, composition and behavior, both in space and time!
• Organelles included:
  • endoplasmic reticulum (ER).
  • nucleus.
  • Golgi apparatus.
  • lysosomes, vacuoles and microbodies.
