Following Chromosomes through Meiosis.

1. Cut out two paper strips 4 cm by .5 cm of red paper.
2. Cut out two paper strips 4 cm by .5 cm of blue color.
3. Cut out two paper strips 2 cm by .5 cm of red paper.
4. Cut out two paper strips 2 cm by .5 cm of blue color.
5. Get a blank sheet of paper (or two).

   Interphase G₁

   1. Draw circle for cell membrane.
   2. Draw nuclear membrane.
   3. Show one set of chromosomes (4 and 2 cm) from male parent (red)
   4. Show other set of chromosomes (4 and 2 cm) from female parent (blue)
